Russian Bored Games

Who would have thought all those countless hours of playing Monopoly would help you land a hot Russian bride eh?!

Apparently, board games are becoming quite the rage in Mother Russia. Large groups of people, young and old, are congregating at these gaming sessions that are held virtually anywhere, ranging from cozy cafes to local bars, libraries and even night clubs.

Although board games may seem like a droll trip down memory lane to you, many of the board games you grew up with such as “Monopoly”, “Scrabble” and even “Chutes & Ladders” never made it to Russian homes. Today however, Russia is experiencing what can only be described as a board game Renaissance of sorts.

“Board games are still something new, that needs an explanation and getting accustomed to the thought that they can be played,” said Ivan Tulovsky, director of the Right Games project.

“How do board games and beautiful Russian women come into play?” you ask. Why it’s elementary. Think about it. What better way to get to know a person than sitting down to a stimulating yet fun game of “Life” or even “Sorry”. You can find out what type of girl you’re dealing with just by watching her roll the die.

Board games tend to be an excellent forum for letting guards down and getting to know each other. Going head to head while matching wits with another person doesn’t always have to be intense. There’s plenty of room for small talk.

In fact, check out some of the profiles on the Dream-Marriage site. Chat it up with one of our beautiful Russian brides to be and start up a game of Tic-Tac-Toe.
